Need a Place for Business?
Patsy has lived and worked in the area all her life. She is very knowledgeable about Farmington, Missouri and the surrounding market and knows what fair pricing is.
Honest, with a reputation for giving above board information, Patsy has developed an extensive network of local business owners. Patsy also knows there's more to finding the right place for someone than just square footage and price, including
- Whether your business is a match for the other businesses in a building
- If there will be enough parking
- If you require a high-visibility location (not everybody does)
- What kind of customers you will attract
- If the location suits the feel and atmosphere of your business
Patsy thinks of all this so you don't have to worry about missing a thing.
Narrowing down locations
By spending time with you, getting to know all the answers pertinent to your search, and accessing her wide array of contacts, Patsy is sure to find a location just right for you and your business, as long as that location exists. If it doesn't, she'll let you know so you can decide what to do next.
Once a few locations are selected, Patsy will coordinate any visits to the new potential location. She'll walk through the location with you and tell you the things you want to hear... and don't want to hear. Remember, you hired her as a professional. She's going to treat you respectfully while always pointing out everything you need to consider.
Is time running out on your current lease?
Don't fret, it happens. Patsy will advise you on how to talk with your current landlord to help get on a month-to-month lease. In the meantime, let Patsy know what you're looking for.
When you find the right place
Patsy won't leave you hanging to take care of transactions with banks, or dealings with unfamiliar property managers. She'll help you along the entire process.
Start finding a new place...
99% of the time, Professional Property Management's fees are paid by the landowners, not the person looking for a space.
At the onset of the process, Patsy asks a lot of questions to determine what kind of space will be best suited for your business.
She'll ask about budget constraints, footage needed, how the space will be used. She will then spend time showing you properties that fit, and can also help with bank loans, landlord negotiations, etc.
How long will the process take?
There are no averages here, because the process is as individual as one's own fingerprints.
There are so many factors that determine the timeline, such as what is available in the market, what you're seeking, if remodeling is needed, etc. But Patsy and her associates have the knowledge and experience to avoid any unnecessary hang ups.
Scheduling a time to talk and meet will initiate the process. You should come prepared with answers to these questions:
- What type of business do you have?
- What type of space do you need?
- How much parking will you need?
- What type of clients will you attract?
- Do you need a high-visibility location?
- How long do you plan to be in the location?
Cost
If you're looking for a building in which to move your business, you typically won't have to pay a dime. All of Professional Property Management's fees are paid by the landowner on the building you choose.
